Deja Vu as Staples Sweeps PASS Modified weekend.

(Aug. 17 & 19, 2007) Chris Staples, gets back to back wins in the PASS Modified Series. Win number one of the 2007 PASS Modified Season came at Riverside Speedway, Friday night. 

 Starting mid-pack the Number 5 Dallas Oil car made it through traffic to take the lead on lap 21.  From there it was a dog fight as Chris Staples and Jason Taylor in the number 8 modified car, as they exchanged the lead back and forth, for the last 20 laps of the race. 

As the checkered flag flew as the number 5 car crossed the line 1st, giving Chris and the Staples Motorsports Team the 1st win of the 2007 season.

  But there is no time to slow down because its back behind the wheel as thePASS Modified tour returns to Wiscasset Speedway. Once again starting in the mid-pack as the green flag dropped to start the race.

Avoiding a large wreck in turns 1 and 2, which to collected up some of the front runners.  Halfway through the way race the 5 car found its way once again to the top spot, but this time it was Troy Morse that was exchange the lead with the number 5 car. But it was Deja Vu as Chris Staples, crossed the start finish line to take the checkered flag and win number 2.

  With 2 straight wins this season and 11 career wins, Chris Staples becomes the driver with the most wins in PASS Modified history.
