Number 5 Team does Double Duty at the Ridge

(Sept. 24th, 2007) Staplesmotorsports Team does double duty this weekend at Beechridge competing in the PASS Modified Series and the PASS Outlaw Series. 

Chris for the 1st time this season competed in the PASS Outlaw Series, in the 100 lapper at Beechridge. Starting in the top 10 the number 5 Dallas oil car made it up to the 2nd place. then avoiding a multi car wreck  coming out of turn 4, Staples slipped back out of the top 5, but before the checkered flag flew, Chris made back into the top 5.

The racing didn't stop there it was out of the number Outlaw car and into the number 5 Modified car. Starting in the rear of the field Chris, made his way through the field avoiding a major multi-car wreck which took out some of the top competitors including pole sitter Ronald Gooden Jr. and Modified 2nd place points driver Troy Morse. Staples once again crossed the finish line in the 4th place.
