With a strong start the number 5 Dallas Oil Outlaw car moved into the top spot racing with the 84 of Scott Mulkern for the lead. With 10 laps to go, a noise coming from the engine, Chris eased the car into second place to cross the start finish line in second place to start off the 2008 race season.
